On our anniversary we decided to stay home and just chill. Maci is still very much attached to me and we would have had to take her with us. We figured we may as well all hang out. I came up with a plan to have a Hawaiian party that night and surprise Collin with it. We he came home from work we had a tiki torch outside the front door and an ALOHA sign hanging on the door. I completely changed the kitchen and living room around so it would look like a vacation spot. We met Collin at the door in our Hawaiian clothes. I made Hawaiian haystacks for dinner and we had the TV set on the Hawaiian music channel. It was such a fun night!
Olivia was so much help this day. She helped clean and put everything together. Collin took her to dance class around 5:30 and she managed to not crack and tell daddy what we were up to at home.
I decided to do this the morning of and wondered if I would be able to find any decorations at all. I thought at most I might find straws with umbrellas on them. I tried the dollar store first and I couldn't believe how much they had. Two full isles of Hawaiian party stuff. Great luck! We really had such a fun night. I think we are going to try and do this once a month or so.

Maci was a party animal! We had to cut her off at 5 pina coladas.
